Dreams FC Executive Chairman Kurt Okraku says he would have sacked Kenichi Yatsuhashi if he were to be in-charge at Hearts of Oak.

Yatsuhashi has been in the news for all the close reasons this week following his Facebook post making damaging statements about the club.

The Japanese coach revealed he has not been paid for two months likewise members of his backroom staff and players.

Hearts of Oak’s Strategy Committee is set to meet the coach for going public on internal matters to damage the image of the club.

Okraku, who doubles as a Ghana FA Executive Committee, feels Yatsuhashi has gone beyond bounds and should be fired.

“Per the structures we have in Dreams, our coaches will not behave the way Kenichi has behaved,” he told Joy Sports on Monday.

“If I was directly responsible for Hearts of Oak, I will fire him.”

“He is the coach. Hearts of Oak has made him popular. Before he arrived in Ghana, nobody knew him.”

"He is here basically to work as a coach not as a politician. You cannot play people’s minds and hearts against the management and board all because you want to appeal to pity.

"At the end of the day, if you look at the issues at stake, they are no issues. That somebody has not been paid winning bonuses or received a month’s salary. They are no issues."

"Kenichi must concentrate on his core job and work and get results for Hearts of Oak."

"If I was the board chairman of Hearts of Oak, Kenichi will be a goner."

Hearts of Oak face WAFA on Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
