Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has expressed concerns about Mohammed Kudus' poor form, citing it as a major reason behind West Ham's struggles in the 2024-2025 campaign.

West Ham currently ranks 15th in the English Premier League standings.

Kudus had a remarkable 2023-2024 season with eight goals and nine assists in 33 league games. However, this season, he has managed only four goals and three assists in 31 appearances.

Carragher noted that Kudus "looked fantastic" last season but hasn't shown the same level of performance this season.

“There is no doubt he's a quality player who should be playing for a team I would say closer to the top of the table not near the bottom right now," Carragher said.

"Probably one of the reasons why West Ham are where they are this season, is because he hasn’t shown the form that he showed last season... so I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a change.”

West Ham closes out the league season with a match against Ipswich Town on Sunday, May 25.
