Berekum Chelsea goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad is craving for football resumption in Ghana amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

The Ghanaian top-flight and all other football activities in the country have been halted since 15 March 2020 following the surge in coronavirus cases.

The Ghana FA have been in deliberations with major stakeholders from government and the health sector on how football can resume but there hasn't been approval.

"I think it is not a bad idea for football to return," he told Kickgh.com

"However, I believe that all the players will go through mandatory test to prevent mayhem,"

"Football is our work and ones the authorities signal that we should play, we will have no choice."

Danlad playing on-loan from giants Asante Kotoko SC kept eight clean sheets out of 14 games for Berekum Chelsea before the premiership was suspended.

Danlad was the first choice goalkeeper when he represented Ghana at the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India

The 17-year-old has also been part of the Ghana squads for the 2019 U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Niger and the 2019 U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
