Guinea captain Ibrahima Traore insists he is only interested in leading his team to secure a shock win over Ghana in the 2015 AFCON qualifier on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old scored to earn his team a vital point against the Black Stars in the first leg of the qualifier played last Saturday in Casablanca.

Traore is leading a group of young and hungry players to Tamale in what they hope will be a successful showing on Wednesday.

The Borussia Monchengladbach star says it doesn’t matter whether he gets on the scoring sheet or not so far as his team comes away with a victory.

“We are very confident coming into this game,” he told MTNFootball.com.

“It doesn’t matter whether I score or not. The important thing is the win.

“So we’re going to come, do a good game like we did in Casablanca and win.”

Guinea are third in Group E with four points and could surge to the top if they manage to clinch a shock win over the Black Stars on Wednesday in Tamale.

Ghana on the other hand could do their qualification chances a whole lot of good if they get the expected win.
