Udinese’s Antonio Di Natale and Lazio’s Miroslav Klose have bid their farewells to their respective sides.
As the storied careers of the two veteran strikers draw to a close, both players appear to be in search of one final challenge before hanging up their boots.
“I want to thank my teammates and the city for 12 years of wonderful emotions and I dedicate my last goal to my family, friends and to all of my fans,” Di Natale said to Premium Sports after the Zebrette’s 2-1 defeat to Carpi.
“It was an honour to have worn the Lazio shirt for five years and I will never forget them, I hope you find all that you deserve because you are incredible,” Klose said after the conclusion of the Biancocelesti’s 4-2 loss against Fiorentina.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
