IGP David Asante-Apeatu signs Sam Arday's book of condolence

The Inspector General of Police David Asante-Apeatu paid a visit to the family house of the late Sam Arday to sign the book of condolence.

He was accompanied by the top brass of the Ghana Police Service to pay respect to their former colleague.

The IGP said: ''Coach Sam Arday was an outstanding and distinguished officer, who served the nation diligently in various capacities from 1967 to 2000, when he voluntarily retired from the police service.

''His dedication to duty, hard work and discipline was evident in the many awards to his credit and also raising the image of the Ghana Police Service.''
