Newly-appointed Hearts of Oak coach CK Akunnor has told the fans he is no magician to turn around the club's fortunes overnight.

Akunnor lost his first game in charge losing 1-0 to Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Before his arrival, Hearts had managed just one win in five matches and were second on the league table behind Kotoko with a nine point deficit.

Hearts are now 12 points off the pack and have slipped into fourth place.

Akunnor-who replaced Serbian trainer Nebojsa Vucicevic-is expected to produce immediate results.

But the former Eleven Wise coach says is not Harry Potter to perform magic for the club.

"I am not a magician and certainly not Harry Potter to turn things around overnight, but I believe with support from especially the fans, things will be right," the ex-Ghana captain told the 90 Minutes Newspaper.

Hearts face a difficult match on Sunday against Aduana Stars.
