Dreams FC head coach Abdul Karim Zito is over the moon after his team secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League.

The win has propelled Dreams FC to 14th place on the league table with 16 points, lifting them out of the relegation zone.

Coach Zito expressed his relief and satisfaction, stating, "At the end of the day, I'm very happy that at least we've been able to lift ourselves out of the red zone."

The Dreams FC coach acknowledged the tactical challenge posed by Accra Lions, praising his team's resilience and determination. "It wasn't easy for us. Lions came with a tactical system to stop us from doing what we wanted to do," he said.

Despite feeling that his team should have scored more goals in the first half, Coach Zito was pleased with the outcome, which gives his team a much-needed lifeline in their fight to avoid relegation.

The Still Believe lads found themselves in a precarious position last season before eventually fighting to retain their place in the top flight. Their struggles last season were however attributed to their impressive CAF Confederation Cup debut campaign which saw them reach the semi-finals to become the first Ghanaian side in two decades to do so.
