Ghana beat South Africa 4-0 to lift the 2012 Nestle Milo Under-13 African Football Championship in Accra on Friday.

SOS Tamale made mince meat of Nkunzimbini Junior Secondary for the second time in the competition with an opening day 5-0 victory in the Group stage.

The Ghanaian finished with an envious record of scoring 19 goals and not conceding.

Striker Mohammed Naeen emerged top scorer by netting 11 goals in four matches.

South Africa picked a consolation after Gladile Axole was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

Sierra Leone earned bronze after beating Nigeria's Stephen 8-7 on penalties after both sides had tied 1-1.

Peter Bassey from Nigeria was adjudged the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

The Fair Play Award went to Kenya's Loresho Primary.
