Impressive Lions hammer bottom-placed Inter Allies
Heart of Lions beat Inter Allies

Heart of Lions fought from behind to post a 2-1 win over bottom-placed Inter Allies at the Tema Park in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Inter Allies gave themselves hope of a second home win of the season when Dennis Antwi powered them ahead in the first-half.

But the Giant Killers dominated after the break and took a 2-1 lead. Former Ghana striker Sam Yeboah finished off a delightful play to restore parity for Lions before Hudu Yakubu cemented the victory at the Tema Park.

Lions' recent form has seen them go fourth and they consolidated their place after picking all the three points at stake.

Sam Yeboah's goal was a hallmark of pure telepathy as he raced to finish off an eye-catching ball display from the right side of attack.

Hudu Yakubu scored a goal of the season contender when he rattled the net with a great strike.
