Emmanuel Banahene wants a chance to prove he is probably the answer to Ghanaââ¬â¢s striking problems with a maiden Black Stars call up.
The ex Berekum Chelsea playerââ¬â¢s good form so far in the Turkish second tier has fetched him 12 goals in 23 appearances for Karsiyaka where he is on loan from Ordurspor.
Banaheneââ¬â¢s new found form has catalyzed a crusade by many to have him included in the next Ghana squad for the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan later this month.
And the 24-year-old is ever eager to prove his worth if invited on the back of his impressive form in Turkey.
ââ¬ÅIf officials and the coach will give me the chance, of course I am ready to come and show what I also have,â⬠he told Accra-based Happy FM.
ââ¬ÅIf my performance here in Turkey catches their eye, I am ever ready to come and play for the national team.ââ¬
Banahene is likely to be recalled by Ordurspor when his loan spell at Karsiyaka expires at the end of the season.
