Emmanuel Banahene wants a chance to prove he is probably the answer to Ghana’s striking problems with a maiden Black Stars call up.

The ex Berekum Chelsea player’s good form so far in the Turkish second tier has fetched him 12 goals in 23 appearances for Karsiyaka where he is on loan from Ordurspor.

Banahene’s new found form has catalyzed a crusade by many to have him included in the next Ghana squad for the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against Sudan later this month.

And the 24-year-old is ever eager to prove his worth if invited on the back of his impressive form in Turkey.

“If officials and the coach will give me the chance, of course I am ready to come and show what I also have,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.

“If my performance here in Turkey catches their eye, I am ever ready to come and play for the national team.”

Banahene is likely to be recalled by Ordurspor when his loan spell at Karsiyaka expires at the end of the season.
