Inter Allies defender Baba Mensah says his surge in form was inspired by the heavy criticisms he received in the past.
The 20-year-old emerged as one of the leading performers in the first half of the First Capital Plus season.
Baba Mensah however endured a difficult spell especially during his time with the Ghana U20 team in 2013.
He was often lashed at for his lackluster performance at the time.
But the bulky defender now says the heap of criticisms he has had to endure in the past had helped in making him a better player now.
“I have been working very hard,†Mensah told Sportscrusader.com.
“The past has also motivated me to push to prove my doubters wrong.â€
