SC Paderborn 07 forward Bernard Tekpetey is unsure if he will return to Schalke 04 in the summer.

Tekpetey left Schalke to sign a two-year contract with German Bundesliga II side SC Pardeborn.

The Royal Blues installed a buy back clause in the 21-year old forward's contract before he joined Paderborn last summer.

Reports indicate that Paderborn are willing to listen to offers for the striker in June, but the Royal Blues have first refusal on their former striker.

When asked if he is eager to rejoin the Veltins-Arena outfit, Tekpetey says he is uncertain though he’d like to make the move.

“My main focus is in Paderborn now but when the season comes to a close maybe I’ll think about moving back to Schalke,” he told Sheikh Toufik.

“Schalke inserted a buy-back clause in the contract but I can’t tell if they will re-purchase me in the summer. If they want me back, I’ll sign for them but they can also buy me and sell me to another club who shows interest in me during the transfer window.”

He has registered three assists and scored 10 goals in all competitions for Paderborn in the ongoing campaign.
