Barcelona’s interest in Liverpool winger Luis Diaz has been reported by Catalunya Radio, with the Colombian being identified as a potential target for the Catalan giants in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The La Liga outfit are looking to bolster their attacking options and have set their sights on signing a top-class winger. Diaz has emerged as a prime candidate for the Blaugrana, along with Liverpool’s talisman Mohamed Salah and Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-Min.

Since joining the Reds from FC Porto, the 26-year-old has made a strong impression with his performances on the pitch. However, the Merseyside club is unlikely to let go of the winger any time soon, especially with his value to the squad.

Diaz has had an injury-ridden season so far but has recently returned to normal training and is expected to make an appearance in the upcoming matches for Liverpool.

The Colombian international was brought in as a long-term replacement for club legend Sadio Mane, who departed for Bayern Munich at the start of the season.
