Marcus Rashford is anticipating England’s next game in the Qatar World Cup after their ‘great’ win over Senegal on Sunday night.
The Three Lions beat the AFCON champions 3-0 in the round of 16 to book their place in the next round and will face France in the quarter-final.
Jordan Henderson opened the scoring halfway through the first half and on the stroke of halftime, Harry Kane scored the second goal.
Midway through the second half, Phil Foden set Bukayo Saka up and the Arsenal man tripled England’s lead.
Minutes after Saka’s goal, Gareth Southgate decided to bring on Marcus Rashford to make his 50th cap for the Three Lions.
The Manchester United forward created a chance for Kane but the Tottenham forward couldn’t make contact on the ball. Some minutes later, he had a tight chance but his effort was inches away from the goal post.
After the game, the 25-year-old took to Twitter to react to England’s commanding display against Senegal.
Rashford tweeted: “Great win tonight and 50th cap for @england Bring on the quarterfinals.”
