Erik ten Hag has made it clear that Cristiano Ronaldo is happy at Manchester United.
Despite, his lack of playing time, the Portuguese superstar is ‘enjoying’ his time at club, according to the Dutch manager.
The 37-year-old has become a second choice as the manager prefers Marcus Rashford on the pitch over the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
As per several reports, the forward was keen to leave Old Trafford in summer, seeking for a Champions League football but stayed after not receiving any concrete offers.
However, January transfer window is in the corner and to the rumors if Ronaldo will continue with Manchester side, Erik ten Hag stated:
“I don’t see that he is unhappy. He is happy, he is training well and he is enjoying.
“It has nothing to do with the future, what’s happening for January or next year.”
