Fabrizio Romano provides update on James Maddison amid Tottenham interest

Following Leicester City’s recent relegation from the Premier League, rumors surrounding Maddison’s potential departure have intensified. 

The 26-year-old midfielder has had an impressive season, contributing 10 goals and 9 assists in all competitions. It now appears highly likely that he will make a return to the Premier League this summer, as multiple clubs are interested in signing him. 

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Newcastle United have all been linked with the midfielder.

According to Romano, both Spurs and the Magpies are keen to secure his services, and negotiations are expected to begin soon. 

Romano also mentioned that Tottenham’s new manager, Ange Postecoglou, has expressed his admiration for Maddison, while Eddie Howe’s Newcastle has been monitoring the talented player for some time.
