Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is clear on Roberton Firmino’s future at the club.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed again that he really wants to stop Roberto Firmino from leaving the club in the summer.
Firmino may not have played as many games as he would have liked due to the competition of places at the club and injury issues this season so far.
But despite that, Klopp still believes the Brazil international can still offer a lot for the club, hence why he wants him to renew his contract this season.
Firmino wasn’t part of the team that won Wolves 1-0 on Tuesday night in the FA Cup third round replay due to injury issues.
Speaking on Firmino’s future after the Wolves win, Klopp said: “I said that before: yes, I want to keep him at the club.”
According to Daily Mail, the Liverpool forward is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia but he’s leaning towards a new two-year contract extension with the Reds.
