Levi Colwill has opened up on his future at Chelsea, claiming “good things come to those who wait”.
The Blues’ academy star is currently playing out on loan at Brighton as he continues his development. He is set to return to his parent club at the end of the campaign.
The 20-year-old’s deal at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer of 2025, and he is yet to sign a new contract.
“They always keep in touch, tell me to keep working hard, good things come to those that wait,” Colwill told the Athletic when asked about his future when his returns to Chelsea.
“I’m gaining things here that I wouldn’t gain anywhere else, so I can’t complain,” the centre-back added.
