Real Madrid are still reported to be in contact with French attacker Kylian Mbappe as reports claim the 24years old Winger might still be interested in moving out of the Parc Des Princes.
According to reports from The Athletic , Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid have reportedly made a renewed push in their pursuit of French sensation Kylian Mbappe.
The 24-year-old forward was widely expected to join Los Blancos on a free transfer last summer, but instead decided to sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite being under contract with the French side until June 2024, with the option to extend for another year, there remains uncertainty surrounding Mbappe’s long-term future in Paris.
The report claims that Real Madrid have remained in contact with the player and his representatives, with movement in the Spanish club’s pursuit since the end of the 2022 World Cup. PSG sources have stated that “The only club that can get him out of here is Real Madrid. Nothing is impossible in football, but we could ask for £352m (€400m), or not even put a price on him.”
Mbappe has been in scintillating form for both club and country, scoring 20 goals and registering 5 assists in 23 appearances for PSG this season, and starring for France at the 2022 World Cup, scoring 8 times at the competition, including a hat-trick in the final against Argentina.
With Real Madrid already well-stocked in the forward areas, with young talents Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, a move for Mbappe would likely depend on the future of current forward options and the French club’s success in the Champions League.
