Tamara Korpatsch has commented on the fact that she will miss the Wimbledon doubles due to the withdrawal of her partner, Harmony Tan. She beat Serena Williams last night and has since withdrawn from the pairing.

My partner withdrew from the pairing this morning. I think it’s unfair that she informed me so late.

She says she can’t run because she played for three hours yesterday. I’m sorry, but I played 6 hours and 33 minutes one time and then went out for a single the next day.

It’s not fair and I’m frustrated and disappointed that I can’t play. I didn’t deserve it.

That said, she asked me to play with her herself. And if you break down after a three-hour match, you’re not a professional player. I think so, said No. 104 racket Tamara Korpatsch
