Trent Alexander-Arnold has reacted to criticism following Liverpool’s Champions League win over Rangers.
Alexander-Arnold opened the scoring with a stunning free-kick goal in the Reds’ 2-0 win over the Gers in the UCL group stage round on Tuesday, October 4. Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah doubled the lead with a goal from a penalty spot.
Jurgen Klopp’s side celebrated a victory and are currently second in Group A with 6 points.
Alexander-Arnold has been criticized for his form since the start of the season. Following the game, he responded to his critics.
“People say things, but I come out and perform for the team,” he told BT Sport.
“It’s been a slow start to the season for me, but I’m looking forward to the rest of it.”
