Chelsea are close to reaching an agreement with Barcelona over a transfer fee for midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
According to multiple reports, the Blues are ready to meet the Catalan club’s demands for the Dutch player. Meanwhile, Barca have insisted they don’t want to sell De Jong but will have to unless he accepts their new terms.
The 25-year-old must take a salary 50% pay cut or leave this summer.
