As a rule, it’s rare for Schwartzman to have such bad matches on the clay. Perhaps, he wasn’t feeling well on the day he played against Pablo.
This was only his third clay tournament of the season in which Schwartzman won less than two matches. He plays very often on this surface.
Schwartzman has made it past the first round in six of his last seven tournaments.
