La Liga side Athletic Bilbao have included Spanish-born Ghanaian attacker Inaki Dannis Williams in their squad B for the Uefa Europa League campaign.

Bilbao could not include the crocked attacking midfielder in their squad for the competition due to injury problems.

But have added him to a list of six players who are expected to be registered by the club after the group stages.

This means the 21-year-old will play in the competition for the second successive season if he recovers from injury.

He become the only Bilbao player to score in every competition he featured in last season for the club - including the Europa League.

Williams was born to a Ghanaian father and a Liberian mother but has featured for Spain at U21 level.

The Ghana Football Association has declared interest in convincing the player to play for Ghana.
