Great Olympics kept their title chasing ambitions on track with another vital win on Sunday against Legon Cities FC in the Accra derby at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye's first half goal was the difference at the end of the matchday 20 fixture with Olympics winning by a 1-0 scoreline.

Annor Walker made two changes to the Olympics team that drew 0-0 with newcomers Accra Lions FC last week at the same venue.

Ibrahim Sulley came into the starting lineup in place of Maxwell Abbey Quaye while James Akaminko replaced Razak Kassim.

Cities head coach Maxwell Konadu made a couple of changes to his side that picked a point from the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale against RTU in the last round.

Eric Ofori Antwi returned to the goalposts for the first time in about three months as he replaced William Emmanuel Essu who is serving a suspension.

Togo international Youssifou Atte, Abdul Nassiru Hamza and Croster Obour Adu took the places of Anwar Abdul Basit, Nasiru Moro and Hans Kwofie in the starting lineup respectively.

Abbey-Ashie Quaye scored the only goal of the match in the 13th minute as the Dade Boys claimed all three points.

Olympics remain at the 3rd place on the premiership standings with six points behind leaders Asante Kotoko SC.
