Medeama survived Real Tamale United scare to win 2-1 on match day 24 of the Ghana Premier League match at home on Sunday.
The Mauve and Yellows needed Kofi Ansu Patrick's 27th minute strike to separate the two teams at the Akoon Community Park.
Forward Darlington Adjei opened the scoring as early as the eight minute but the lead lasted just 10 minutes after Mohammed Sadat pulled parity on 18th minute.
Sadat scored from the spot kick to level matters away from home but Medeama responded quickly again with a sleek finish courtesy Kofi Ansu Patrick nine minutes later.
