2021/22 Ghana Premier League Week 25: Match Report– Gold Stars 2-1 Great Olympics

Gold Stars returned accounted for Great Olympics 2-1 at the Dun's Park on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.

The Bibiani-based side had to do that the hard way but coming from a goal down to grab the points at stake.

Great Olympics took the lead in the 22 minute through Ghana international Maxwell Abbey Quaye.

But Gold Stars found the equalizer  in the 35th minute when Yahaya Adraman found the back of the net.

In the 57th minute, striker Prince Opoku Agyemang scored an impressive goal.

Michael Osei and his boys bettered their home record to five consecutive wins.

They have not dropped points at home since losing 1-0 to Hearts of Oak on 8 January, 2022.

Gold Stars have now added Great Olympics to their list of victims after slaying Legon Cities, Aduana Stars, Medeama, Elmina Sharks and Dreams FC in Bibiani.
