Ghana Premier League newbies Accra Lions FC have completed the signing of talented striker Fredrick Akatuk ahead of the new season, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.
Akatuk joins Lions from Division One side Mighty Jets FC for an undisclosed amount.
The budding striker was outstanding in the Ghanaian second-tier last campaign having finished as the second topscorer in Zone 3 notching 17 goals in 26 matches.
The Zone 3 top scorer Rauf Salifu and Akatuk are expected to form an attacking duo that was worth 38 goals last season.
Sporting Director Rainer Kraft said:
"Fredrick is a skillful attacker who knows how to put his teammates and himself in striking positions. He was the second best scorer with 17 goals in the past Division One League campaign."
The highly-rated youngster has represented Ghana at the youth levels and has been tipped to blossom in the Ghanaian top division next term.
