'Animal farm" controversy as delayed Ghana FA decision on Ebusua Dwarfs vs Legon Cities abandoned match heat up cracks

The delay in releasing a decision on the Ebusua Dwarfs and Legon Cities botched Ghana Premier League has sparked anger and controversy in the West African nation amid an  "animal farm" suspicion being operated in the local top-flight.

The authorities are yet to deliver a decision on the abandoned match, one week after officials refused to turn up for the second half to further highlights suspicions.

Referee Alpha Adey, his assistants and the match commissioner all failed to show up for the second half over claims of being targeted by irate fans.

However, one week after the unfortunate incident, the Ghana FA has been unable to deliver a decision on the match to spark a wave of controversy in Ghana.

The current scenario is in direct contrast of the  swiftness and alacrity deployed in handing down stiffer punishments to second-tier side Techiman City over alleged fans' insults during a league match.

There is a massive talk of an alleged "animal farm" system being operated with the swiftness and otherwise of a decision dependent on the team involved.

The situation does not engineer confidence in the  judicial system and damages the esprit de corps of members of the association.

It's unclear how and why a decision on an abandoned match has overly delayed to put the spin doctors in real motion.

Legon Cities are expected to be handed maximum points and three goals after irate fans of the home supporters physically attacked the match officials.

Cities had taken a 1-0 lead courtesy Richmond Antwi and were in cruise control until the barbaric fans behaviour overshadowed the match.
