Asante Kotoko captain Emmanuel Gyamfi has signed a contract extension for 15 months which will see him earn Ghc 67,500.
The pacey winger's contract was set to expire next week with the club open to offering him a four-month extension which could have seen him until the end of the season.
The initial offer from the club was rejected by the Players' representatives.
Gyamfi agreed to a new deal with the club on Monday and will take home Ghc 4,50000 for the next 15 months.
The 26-year-old has been impressive for the Porcupine Warriors in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
