Ashantigold assistant coach Thomas Duah reassigned to special assistant to club president

Assistant coach of Ashantigold, Thomas Duah has been re-assigned to the special assistant to club president role. 

Thomas Duah will not work close to the club president, Dr Kwaku Frimpong, following changes in management of the club.

The Miners earlier parted ways with Sporting Director, Kwasi Darlington as part of then new changes currently ongoing.

The former Ashantigold player played different roles at the club last season including working as stand-in coach following the departure Milovan Cirkivic.

Ashantigold are restructuring to ensure they have a good campaign in the 2021/22 season.

Meanwhile, son of Dr Kwaku Frimpong, Emmanuel Frimpong remains Chief Executive Officer of the club.

The Aboakese lads finished last season in ninth position and were runners up in the MTN FA Cup.
