Bechem United open investigation into alleged match-fixing after Eleven Wonders dramatic comeback

Bechem United have opened an investigation into the alleged fixing following the side's dramatic 3-2 defeat at relegation-threatened Techiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday. 

The Hunters took a two-goal cushion but were pegged back in an extraordinary fashion by the host after conceding three goals within 12 minute to suffer fifth defeat of the campaign.

The club's top hierachy claim to have been stunned by the turn of events and have launched an investigation into the match.

Coach Kasim Mingle, who has hit out at the referee, has confirmed the club is investigating the outcome of the Premier League match.

“We have lodged official protest against the referee. But as a club, we have also began in house investigation as a club to figure out if indeed there was a fixed match,” Coach Mingle told Kumasi-based Akoma FM

“The league title race is not over yet. We will keep pushing for the games left and see what happens.”

United are eight points behind leaders Asante Kotoko with nine games to end the season.
