CAF Champions League: Wydad to lose star-man Zouhair El Moutaraji in second leg against Hearts

Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club have been hit with another injury blow as midfielder Zouhair El Moutaraji is set to miss the second leg clash against Hearts of Oak. 

The The 25-year-old Moroccan suffered an injury in the game against Hearts in Accra on Sunday, and will undergo scans to determine the extent of the setback.

He is expected to miss the Phobians' visit of Casablanca.

His absence raises concerns about the huge injury list of the North Africans.

He joins Reda Al-Jaadi and Salahuddin Benisho on the list as players to miss the game on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

Hearts of Oak have taken a first leg lead after Isaac Mensah's 42nd minute goal separated the two sides.
