Celta Vigo's Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo has tested positive for coronavirus, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
Aidoo, 25, will miss this weekend's Spanish La Liga match against Cadiz tonight.
The Ghanaian is isolating after contracting the deadly disease in the European country.
Celta Vigo coach Eduardo Coudet will have to do without the impressive centre-back ahead of the La Liga Santander clash against Cadiz at home tonight at the Balaidos Stadium.
He has called up 22 players for the 5th week fixture against Caidiz.
Aidoo will return to the squad once he recovers from the illness - which is likely to take two weeks.
