EXCLUSIVE: Eleven Wonders player and official arrested after attack on linesman in Accra Lions clash

An official and a player of Techiman Eleven Wonders have been arrested by the Police for the attack of linesman two Adenyo Jaspa Xedro in the matchday six Ghana Premier League game against Accra Lions, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report. 

The player, Mohammed Amin Adams, who was eventually red carded rushed to linesman Adenyo after Accra Lions scored in the 78th minute.

His attack on the referee led to an eight minute halt of the game before an official from Eleven Wonders also joined in the assault.

The official is reported to be the Team manager of Eleven Wonders.

GHANASoccernet's reporter Lukman Evergreen Mumin, who was at the venue monitored events for your most authoritative football portal.

"Just after Fredrick Asante scored the goal, Amin Adams immediately rushed to the linesman with some of his teammates. The center referee had to rush to calm the heated situation," said Lukman.

"After minutes of trying to keep the cool, the players won't leave and that led to the intervention of the Police. Even though play had to be continued, the official won't leave and had to be forced away by the security personal."

Amin Adams had a goal ruled out in the first half as offside, which is believed to have triggered his attack on the official.
