EXCLUSIVE: Ghanaian youngster Julius Ofori Ziggy joins Energetik-BGU Minsk in Belarus

Ghanaian youngster Julius Ofori Ziggy has completed a transfer to Belarusian top-flight side Energetik-BGU Minsk, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 22-year-old midfielder signed a two-year contract with the Minsk based club on Thursday following his medical examination.

Ofori was born on 3 August 1999 in the city of Kumasi.

Previously, he played for Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold SC from September 2020.

Ofori was part of the AshantiGold team in the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup.

He made an appearance against Moroccan side RS Berkane.

Ofori joins compatriots Francis Narh, Dennis Tetteh, Daniel Sosah and Sulley Muniru who are all plying their trade in the Belarusian league.
