Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey's two lovely children watched him play in Leicester City's final game of the season against Southampton at the King Power Stadium.

Amartey came on as a late substitute as the Foxes end the season in style after thrashing Southampton 4-1 to finish the campaign in eight place.

The 27-year-old brought his children onto the pitch after the game as the players celebrated the moment with the fans and their family.

Daniel Amartey had one of his best campaigns in England since moving to Leicester after making 33 appearances in all competitions for the 2016 English Premier League champions.

The centre-back has been plagued with injuries in previous campaign, limiting him to few appearances.

However,  he played a pivotal role this season as Leicester reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League, only to be beaten by AS Roma.

Amartey was important to the national team, as he starred alongside Alexander Djiku in the World Cup playoff against Nigeria as Ghana made a return to the global showpiece.
