Ghana striker Benjamin Tetteh scores on injury return

Ghana striker Benjamin Tetteh returned from injury with a bang as he scored for Yeni Malatyaspor in the Turkish Cup.

Tetteh's goal helped Malatyaspor beat Akhisarspor 3-1 after extra time and advance to the next stage of the competition.

He has now scored six goals in all competitions this season.

Tetteh had missed the previous two games due to thigh muscle rapture. It was the same injury that forced him to miss the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa in early November.

The 24-year-old has two caps for the senior national team, Black Stars having made his debut in October.

Tetteh signed a four-year contract with Malatyaspor in July this year.
