Ghana U20 defender Uzair Alhassan has landed in Netherlands to complete a move to FC Utrecht after an excellent season in Ghana.

Alhassan is joining Utrecht from Ghanaian club Tamale Utrecht Academy which is a feeder club to the Dutch club.

The 19-year-old is expected to officially sign his contract in the coming days before he moves to German side SV Straelen on a season-long loan.

Alhassan has gotten the right transition in his development after graduating from the Ghana U17, U20 and now with the U23 national team.

The talented central defender was a key member of the Ghana team that won the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania last March.
