Ghanaian youngster Salis Abdul Samed has returned to training after recovering from an injury he sustained last Sunday in the French Ligue 1 match against OGC Nice.
Abdul Samed was replaced in the 62nd minute following the injury when Clermont Foot were beaten 2-1 at home at the Stade Gabriel Montpied.
The 21-year-old defensive resumed training on Thursday and is line for the match against Stade Reims this weekend.
Abdul Samed has been key for Clermont in Ligue 1 this campaign having featured in all of the last 10 matches.
The highly-rated midfielder has made 13 appearances in only his debut season in the French top-flight.
