Ghanaian striker Stephen Sey joins newly-promoted El Sharkia El Dokhan in the Egyptian Premier League

Ghanaian striker Stephen Kwame Sey has completed a transfer to Egyptian Premier League side El Sharkia El Dokhan FC.

They 27-year-old joins the newly-promoted side from Tanzanian club Namungo FC after a stellar campaign last season.

Sey was instrumental for Namungo has led them to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup in only their maiden participation.

The Ghanaian scored 5 goals in 11 appearances during the continental campaign.

Sey signed for Namungo in August 2020 from Singida United who suffered relegation from the Tanzanian top-flight after the 2019/2020 season.

He played for second-tier club Tudu Mighty Jets in Accra before leaving the shores of Ghana to continue his career in Tanzania.

Sey is the second Ghanaian player to join the Cairo based club after former Hearts of Oak midfielder Benjamin Afutu.
