Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Aziz Nurudeen is delighted to be back to full fitness to play football again after lengthy layoff.

The former Ghana U23 player spent most part of last season and the early stages of this season on the sidelines due to an injury he was carrying since July 2021.

The 23-year-old has played three matches in the league this campaign playing back-to-back 90 minutes against Real Tamale United and Asante Kotoko SC.

The midfielder’s comments after the game against bitterest rivals Kotoko included praise of recent performances of his teammates also serve to underline his happiness to be back to join the group.

"Obviously I’m really, really happy and so blessed to be back and be fully fit now, and I’m enjoying being back with the team," Nurudeen explained to phobianews.com

"I’ve been training well and I’ve been doing some extra work. And my team-mates have helped me come back and feel confident."

Nurudeen has been overly impressive for the Phobians so far in the game few minutes he has played this campaign.
