Hearts of Oak striker Daniel Barnieh has reiterated the club's desire to win their preliminary round encounter against Guinean side CI Kamsar.
Due to political unrest in Guinea, CAF decided that the encounter will be a one-off with the winner progressing to the next stage of the competition. Hearts though have the home advantage because the one-off decider will be played at the Accra Stadium on Sunday.
Ahead of the game, Barnieh, recently earned debut Black Stars call-up, is confident of a positive outcome.
"It’s a special game. It is a one-off game so everyone will play for victory," Barnieh explained.
“We have confidence we can play like it’s a normal game. It’s important of course but in the end, our target is just one target: we need to win the game and advance to the next stage of the competition.”
