I want to be like Cecil Jones Attuquayefio - Hearts coach Samuel Boadu

Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has eulogized the late Cecil Jones Attuquayefio and says he wants to emulate the success achieved by the Coach during his time with the club.

Coach Attuquayefio achieved a lot of success with the Accra-based club, winning the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup title as well as multiple titles on the domestic scene.

Samuel Boadu who was appointed two seasons ago is gradually following the footsteps of the legendary coach.

Boadu equaled Coach Attuquayefio’s record of winning back-to-back FA Cup titles on Sunday after beating Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Phobians came from behind to win the game 2-1 courtesy of goals from Caleb Amankwah and Daniel Afriyie Barnie.

Samuel Boadu now has five trophies in his two-year stint with the club.

Speaking in an interview, Coach Samuel Boadu intimated that he wants to emulate the work done by Jones Attuquayefio at Hearts of Oak

"I want to be like the late Cecil Jones Attuquayefio. May his soul rest in peace. I am gradually learning from some of the things he did and I know very soon I will get there,", he told Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM.

Coach Samuel Boadu since joining Hearts of Oak has won the Ghana Premier League title, two FA Cup titles, the President Cup and the Super Cup.
