Maccabi Netanya are interested in signing Ghanaian defender David Acquah from Maccabi Haifa.

The 20-year-old has attracted huge interest in Israel following his switch from Ghanaian second-tier side Tudu Might Jets.

Acquah, who is on loan at Hapoel Nof HaGalil F.C, has emerged strongly on the radar of Maccabi Netanya.

The Ghanaian is expected to return to Maccabi Haifa after a successful loan spell but may not be long before he embarks on another adventure elsewhere.

Acquah was one of the senior factors in the team's promotion to the Premier League and stood out in the Greens' youth team.

The youngster, who recently celebrated his 20th birthday, is part of the Ghana youth squad.

He signed a four-year contract with Maccabi Haifa last year but appears to be in hot-demand.

The centre-back will leave for a significant money as he is highly-rated in the Israeli league.
