Karela United head coach Evans Adotey has been asked to step aside after Monday’s defeat to Ebusua Dwarfs in the Ghana Premier League.

Karela lost 4-1 to Ebusua Dwarfs on match day 31 fixture which is their heaviest defeat of the season in the Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Ayinese based side have been poor in the second round of the season dropping from the top four to the seventh position on the league table.

Evans Adotey has been asked to stepped down following Karela’s United poor run in the ongoing campaign.

In a statement from the club indicated: "Management of the club has reached an agreement with Coach Evans Adotey to step aside for the remainder of the season on health grounds. We wish him well".
