Legon Cities coach Maxwell Konadu has played down his better head-to-head record against Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.

The 2012 winner has not lost to the Phobians in his coaching career and savored the late 1-1 draw on Saturday at the El Wak Stadium.

''It's not about me but it’s about the team. The record still stand and I am happy but credit to the entire team. I have no secret but I believe in hard-work and togetherness,'' Konadu said at the post-match conference.

''It was a good game. The boys implemented all that we worked on. The focus and determination was great. We were patient and finally got the last minute goal.

''I am impressed though we wanted to win this game. We gave everything. I think this is one of our best performances this campaign.''

Konadu also heaped praise on teenage winger Osmanu Amadu who climbed off the bench to snatch the equalizer at the death in added on time.

''Osman Amadu is really having a good season. I spoke to him before I brought him on and clearly he understood everything I want him to go and do and he did that to perfection. I am not surprised that he got the goal for us,'' he said.

''A point at home for us isn’t what we wanted but we will quickly put this behind us and focus on the next game [against RTU] in Tamale.''
