Liberty Professionals head coach Sellas Tetteh says his side will be motivated ahead of their final game of the season against King Faisal after securing a point against Hearts of Oak.

Liberty Professionals held Hearts of Oak to a 1-1 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday 33 to move just above the relegation zone on 39 points.

The Scientific Soccer Lads must beat King Faisal in their last game to secure a place in the topflight division next season.

King Faisal is placed 13th on the league table with 40 points just above Liberty Professionals and will also need to win the game to secure a place in next season’s Ghana Premier League.

According to Sellas Tetteh, his mission is to ensure the Scientific Soccer Lads avoid relegation, thus the results attained against Hearts of Oak will motivate them to beat King Faisal in that final game of the season to be played at the Sogakope Park.

Speaking to the media after his team’s 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak on Sunday, he said, “This game will motivate us to be well prepared for our last game against King Faisal.

“Our last game against King Faisal will decide our position in the league. It is by the Grace of God we got this grace. Playing this respectable draw game against Hearts of Oak will motivate us”, he added.

Meanwhile, the relegation battle will see five clubs Elmina Sharks, Ebusua Dwarfs, Legon Cities, Liberty Professionals and King Faisal go into the final round of fixtures with a hope to stay in the league.
