Midfielder Richard Boadu is grateful to Asante Kotoko for 'following him till now' after signing for the Ghanaian giants.
The Porcupine Warriors snapped up the highly-rated Boadu from Medeama after chasing his signature for a long time.
"I thank them for following me till now. Not every player will get this opportunity, waiting for my signature since last season. I thank them a lot.
“I have watched Kotoko several times and I know what is inside Kotoko and I’m proud to wear a Kotoko jersey. It’s a dream come through."
He has signed a three-year contract and promised to give his best in order to help the Porcupine Warriors achieve greatness.
“I will continue to perform well as I did at the former club that impressed them to come for me. Maybe it might be more than the previous one. I will put all my strength in the team."
Boadu was excellent last season for Medeama and went on trials in Serbia before joining Kotoko.
